What's Goede VIS?
Each species is evaluated on sustainability. The species are classified in three colors: green, orange and red. Fish with a red colour you'd better not eat, the damage to nature at sea is too big. Fish in orange have problems in fishing or farming, but get the benefit of the doubt. You can eat green species with good conscience.

What is the ASC
The ASC aims to be the world's leading certification and labelling programme for responsibly farmed seafood. The ASC is a global organisation working with aquaculture producers, seafood processors, retail and foodservice companies, scientists, conservation groups and the public to promote the best environmental and social choice in seafood. The ASC's aquaculture certification programme and seafood label recognises and rewards responsible aquaculture.
